We would like to say thanks again to Yvonne for being so awesome in letting us borrow your vehicle so that we could make it out to the show that we had scheduled on Feb 22nd at Baba Budan’s in Cincinnati, OH while our van is in the shop getting fixed. Unfortunately though, we didn’t play at all which is never fun, especially since we had driven four hours to play there.
When we got to the venue, the staff had no idea who was to be playing or that there was supposed to even be a show at all. After we had already loaded in and set up to play, we found out over the phone by the owner that another band had been booked to play there after we had already confirmed the date with the club and we got dropped off the bill. The venue hadn’t notified us or our label previously about this.
We were able to get a hold of most of the people that were going to come out to see us play. We apologize to everyone else that we weren’t able to contact and went out to the club not knowing that we wouldn’t be playing, two of which had driven almost 5 hours to see us play.. We hope that you still had a good time. Next time you come out to any Manamana show of your choice, we’ll make sure to get you on the list and don’t have to pay any admission to see us play.
